Faces Not Forgotten

A tribute to those lost through gun violence

Founded by artist Christine Ilweski, Faces Not Forgotten was established to help end senseless gun violence through awareness. By creating art FNF honors victims and creates a keepsake for their families.

Artists paint portraits of Children (age 20 and under) who have been lost to gun violence to give comfort to their families. The families receive the original portrait and a copy is used to create FNF "quilts" that are exhibited nationally to raise awareness of this horrific loss. Participating artists donate their efforts.

We are pleased to provide a way to view one such quilt of portraits in support of Faces Not Forgotten's cause; one that is both somber and sobering. It resides in our window facing 39th Street so can be viewed from the street or sidewalk. Those portrayed are victims of gun violence from the St. Louis metro area.

The portraits include: Demetri Phillips by Crystal Moore-Stephens, Jared Elam by Bill Burton, Trey Barret by Dan Jabook, brothers Steven and James Dent by Christian Fitzgerald, Brandi Lewis by Morgaine Denison, Robert Burrow by Rami Cozad and Robbie McGartland by David Ottinger.
