American Dream Beauty Queen, oil on canvas
Paula Haniszewski explores our shared psyche and neurosis surrounding success and failure, right and wrong, and the past and present. She explores the American occupation with status and acceptance both within ourselves and with others. Ms. Haniszewski received her BFA from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, and an MFA from New York Academy of Art, New York. She is currently the Art Department Chair at Southwestern Illinois College in Belleville, IL.

Inspired by the beauty in nature, Terri Shay is known for her fresh approach to botanical art including realistic paintings of flowers, landscapes and various market foods. Her storybook style is spiced with whimsy and imagination, and elicits a rich dialogue with the viewer. Terri is currently an art instructor at Saint Louis University and St. Louis Community College - Meramec. Ms. Shay received her MFA from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, and a BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, OH.
